Seal may have already won the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t even play football. He also doesn’t take himself too seriously and teamed up with Mountain Dew for a hilarious commercial. In the Super Bowl ad, Seal becomes a seal, for real. With the help of some incredible editing, the singer’s head is seamlessly attached to a seal’s body sitting on a rock. A pod of seals surrounds him, none of whom don famous faces, as he bolts out a parody of his 1994 tune, Kiss from a Rose. It’s so good that we have to wonder if Weird Al had something to do with it.

Seal Was Kissed By A Lime In The Super Bowl Ad
Seal sings about Mountain Dew Baja Blast, declaring, “Baby, I compare it a kiss from a lime, on the bay.” The next line rhymes, and it’s hilarious. “Ohh, the more I think of it, it’s strange. I’m a seal, yeah.” Because, of course, “My flippers can’t hold Mountain Dew. It slips right on through. What a shame.”
While Seal performs, a boat filled with what we believe are tourists floats by just in time for the show, it’s probably one of the funniest and weirdest ads we’ve seen in a very long time. And, just like us, people love it.
After posting the video on YouTube, people went crazy.
It’s all right in the world for this person, “Suddenly, everything makes sense.”
A fan wrote, “I want this to play at my funeral.”
Another wrote, “Best Super Bowl ad I’ve ever seen, they didn’t have to add the lyrics tho.”
This person predicts Seal as the Super Bowl ad winner, “2025 has officially piqued! Nothing will be able to compare to this! Everyone just quit now. Mountain Dew has officially won 2025.”
