One special employ at the Los Primeros School in Camarillo, CA, was way overdue to have some serious love thrown his way. The school’s custodian, Rocky, had been serving faithfully for 33 years. But there is a difference between service and service with passion.
Rocky is one of the most joyful, dedicated, uplifting employees in the entire school. He is, simply, a light to everyone around him. Because of that infectiously positive attitude, Rocky was picked by students as the recipient of an incredible act of kindness.
With the help of DUDE be nice, an intricate and heart-warming plan formed using Rocky’s favorite things (candy and the San Francisco 49ers) and lots of love.
And it was all a surprise.
The students gathered in the auditorium to secretly lure Rocky with decorations and adoring friends. He’s even lured their by promises of “a student getting sick.” Not exactly the best summons. But as soon as he walked in, it was complete joy! Both for him and for the students celebrating the beloved employee.
