People from all over the world from different kinds of backgrounds flock to “The Voice” to showcase their amazing vocal skills in hopes of making it big. The show has launched a ton of careers for unique artists from all walks of life.

What one young singer named Sam Perry did on that stage in Australia, however, is in a league of its own.

When he walked up to the stage with a backpack, the air in the room changed. Even though the judges couldn’t see him yet, they picked up from the audience that something special was about to happen.

A few seconds later, the singer starts making and saving a collection of breathy noises to the large soundboard in front of him. It quickly becomes clear that he’s mixing an entire vocal production right then and there!

He then starts beatboxing and singing background melodies into the mic, which causes judges Kelly Rowland and Boy George to turn their chairs even before he even starts singing. Delta Goodrem cannot resist and turns her chair right after. Seeing how stunned everyone else looks, Joe Jonas joins in and creates the sought-after four-chair turn!

It’s at this point when Sam starts singing Prince’s “When Doves Cry” and the crowd goes totally nuts. The judges are in total disbelief.

When he finishes, the four of them are on their feet and that’s when they start practically begging him to be on their respective teams.

“You just changed the game,” Rowland said, totally breathless. The singer, clearly very shocked and humbled by their response to his unique show, gets red in the face from all the well-earned attention!
