Robert Irwin Earned A Near-Perfect Score On “DWTS” And He Can’t Get Over It: Watch

Robert Irwin DWTS

It’s been 10 years since Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough took home the Mirrorball Trophy during the Dancing with the Stars season 21 finale. It seems talent runs in the family. Bindi’s little brother, Robert Irwin, is the man to beat this season on DWTS. On the October 28th Halloween episode, Robert and his partner, Witney Carson, danced the Argentinian Tango to an incredible string version of the Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams are Made of This. The couple appeared totally in sync and positively stunned the judges.

Robert Irwin Was Made For “DWTS”

After finishing their dance, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson faced the DWTS judges. Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli both gave the couple a perfect 10. Guest judge Cheryl Burke scored their dance an 8.

The following morning, Robert and Witney appeared on Good Morning America, still reeling from the night before.

“It means everything!” Robert told GMA. “This week we’ve been working so hard. Witney had 10s on the brain.”

“The fact that we can dance for America and bring everyone on this journey is wonderful, but the fact that we’re also, the dance skills are really starting to get there. I’ve never been prouder of this little team that we’ve got,” he added.

DWTS fans can’t get enough of Robert Irwin and Witney Carson. They filled the YouTube comments section with love.

“He was the leading man in that dance. I enjoy seeing him bring the dance’s energy to life every week! The transition from Fiyero 2.0 to this is impressive,” a fan wrote.

“Witney is the best choreographer on the show, period,” another fan cheered. “She also emotes so freaking well on every performance. Her chemistry with Robert is beautifully haunting this week too.”

This person left the most beautiful comment for the Crocodile Hunter’s son.

“Robert has very clean lines. He literally has the physique, the mental fortitude, and timing to be a dancer. Steve has to be crying in heaven with pride,” they wrote.

We would love to see Robert Irwin follow in his big sister’s shoes and become a DWTS champ.
