Popping the question on a boat in the Florida Keys seemed like a wonderful idea to Scott Clyne… little did he know that doing so would result in a funny story they’ll be telling for the rest of their lives!
Last September, Scott planned a romantic proposal on a boat in the Keys. Unfortunately, his plans were thwarted by Hurricane Ian, so he rescheduled for November. When the big day came, Scott had his friends scatter rose petals on the bow of their boat, and others stood by with cameras to capture the magic.
Instead, they captured Scott dropping the ring into the water before promptly diving headfirst into the drink after it!
Scott’s girlfriend, Suzie Tucker, burst out laughing as he emerged seconds later with the ring box in his hand. The good news is neither Scott nor the ring were hurt, and the proposal resumed without incident. Don’t worry, she said yes!
