Restaurant Quickly Turns Four-Legged Patron From German To Italian Shepherd

Image shows Rex the German shepherd who loves Italian food.

Rex is a German shepherd who enjoys a happy life. There has been some recent outrage over the possibility that he may not be German. It seems that Rex lives next to an Italian restaurant and has become fond of visiting the neighbors for treats. Speculators are claiming that this new habit may have him denouncing “German” and completing the transition to “Italian” shepherd.

Rex contends that he is still a German shepherd and should be permitted to have hobbies without risking his identity. He states that his penchant for Italian snacks is just a hobby, like his pursuit of the hose. We wouldn’t rename him “Hoser” because he likes to chase the water stream around endlessly. Rex prefers to keep his German shepherd identity and insists that Italian food is a convenient hobby.

It all began with an open window. Rex, being the neighborly gentleman he is, poked his head in to say hello. Much to his surprise, the neighbor shoved a snack in his face. It would have been rude not to accept the gift. After that first bite, he was hooked. When Rex is not begging for tasty Italian snacks at the neighbor’s window, he enjoys his life as a carefree German shepherd. He enjoys romps at the beach with a friend.

He also enjoys long walks in the countryside. Rex has great endurance and loves exploring new areas. He feels quite content whether walking along a cleared trail or crossing an open field. Passing a herd of cattle makes him pause for a second before continuing his journey. Rex is an animal on a mission: to live life to the fullest and enjoy free snacks from the lady in the window.
