Rescuers Brave Floodwaters To Help Trapped Creature With Plastic Container Stuck On Their Head.

A coyote rescued from a flood with their head stuck in a bucket.

Flood damage was the least of this animal’s worries when they had to be rescued from a plastic container! A disaster crew found a helpless coyote among the devastation with their head trapped in a bucket. The poor creature needed help getting free, so the rescue team took them to a wildlife center. There, experts were able to remove the plastic container. After that, the coyote was sent to another location for some much needed rehabilitation!

According to a TikTok video of the daring rescue, the animal spotted amid the flood was actually quite young.

It’s a good thing this rescue team came along in their lifeboat; otherwise, the hurt animal would have continued to wander the flooded area without being able to defend themself. Footage shows the coyote unable to see except through a small hole at the bottom of the bucket.

Although this story has a happy ending, it’s a good reminder that plastic waste can be harmful to wildlife. We should all keep that in mind and do our best to keep the planet as clean as we can! Kudos to the brave flood rescue team that brought this animal to safety.
