Reba was a beloved family sitcom with memorable characters who felt like real people. Reba McEntire played Reba Hart, the ex-wife of Brock Hart, played by Christopher Rich. Melissa Peterman played Barbara Jean Hart, Brock’s new wife. Reba didn’t want anything to do with the woman who stole her husband and took away her kids’ father, yet somehow, they became best friends. Reba aired from 2001 to 2007, and fans still miss seeing the Harts together. The women reunited for the hit sitcom Happy’s Place, which just began its second season. Other Reba characters have made cameos, including Christopher. He suffered a stroke on Easter Morning in 2018. It’s changed his life, but he’s not letting it ruin the time he has left.

Christopher Rich Made A Rare Red Carpet Appearance Recently
According to Parade, Reba, Melissa, and Christopher all appeared on the red carpet at the Paley Honors Gala at The Beverly Hilton on November 10. The Happy’s Place cast walked together, and Christopher walked with his wife, Eva Halina Rich. He used a cane but was all smiles.
Christopher Rich previously opened up about his stroke in an interview with US Weekly.
“After my stroke and having a brain injury, it is like I got hit with an atomic bomb. So it all gets traumatized, and it is a hard reset,” he exclusively told Us Weekly. “After I finally got out of the hospital, I was moving around again. Then I threw a bunch of blood clots and ended up in the hospital with lung embolisms and debris on my heart. After surviving all of that crap, I’m feeling really, really good.”
Christopher Rich added that the stroke changed his outlook on life.
“When you face a major medical issue, it changes your perspective on life,” he said. “When you come through it, you begin to enjoy each day a little bit more, even with the pain.”
