Escape rooms are an excellent way for families or friends to spend time together while solving puzzles to escape. The premise is simple. The room is set up for a mystery scenario. Players enter the room armed with their intelligence and the first clue. They must solve clues or puzzles to gain escape. While fun for participants, escape rooms also yield some fun for the employees who monitor the rooms.

The employees at Reality Break Escapes decided to have a little fun rating some of the things they had witnessed. The time limit varies with the type of room and level of play. When the timer began for one player, he started to play with a remote-controlled car. Rather than solving any of the puzzles, the gentleman continued to play with the car. Employees rated this odd behavior 8/10.

Some customers break or overturn the props to bypass solving them, which creates problems. Employees rate destruction between 1/10 and -5/10. However, when people try on the clothing, it brings out smiles, and a “doctor” is rated 10/10 for looking spiffy as he “experiences” the role.

Perhaps one of the most hilarious customers was the guy who decided to nap while the timer was running. Lying facedown, this guy seemed to have a great nap on the not-so-comfortable floor. It only gained him a 6/10 rating, but at least his actions weren’t scary.

When the players stare into the camera, that can be disconcerting. This behavior only earns 3/10 because it can scare the employees. Overall, the cameras seem to provide safety for the participants and viewing enjoyment for the employees. If you’ve never done an escape room, grab some friends or family and try it!
