According to Tsavo Trust, the odds of a baby elephant being born albino, or “pink,” are one in 10,000. However, life can be tough for these rare creatures. Due to their lack of pigmentation, albino elephants are more likely to experience sun damage. Additionally, many of these animals are rejected by their families at birth.
