When QVC filed for bankruptcy, many feared it was the end of the network. For decades, loyal fans tuned in to watch their favorite hosts, guests, and celebrities showcase products they couldn’t find anywhere else. But as times changed, QVC’s viewership changed, and the network struggled. But now, QVC is out of bankruptcy and ready for a strong future.

President and CEO David Rawlinson stepped down to make way for the change.
“It has been a privilege to lead QVC Group over the past five years, and I am incredibly proud of the resilience, commitment, and execution our teams have demonstrated throughout that time,” he shared in a news release. “I am grateful to our team, customers, partners and stakeholders for their trust, support and partnership. Together, we built exciting momentum on new platforms, earned recognition as a TikTok Shop Seller of the Year for 2025 and exponentially grew the reach of our streaming business, all while resetting our financial base.
The Interim CEO Has Big Plans For QVC
Mike George will step in as interim CEO at QVC with huge enthusiasm.
“I am energized by the opportunity to return to QVC Group at such an important moment in its journey,” he shared. “I am excited to work closely with the new Board and current management team, and to reconnect with our team members, building upon the strong foundation that has been established. Together, we will continue to create innovative shopping experiences for customers and evolve the business to capture value for all of our stakeholders as the Board searches for a permanent CEO.”
Mike George added a thank you to David Rawlinson for his leadership and grace during the changeover.
