Seeing Lewie Smile After His Hair Grew Back Following Cancer Treatment is Pure Joy
Katie posted a video of Lewie with text that reads, “Just a boy feeling the wind in his hair after losing it to cancer.”
In the video, Lewie positively cackles as the wind blows his crazy hair as he rides in the car. The little boy isn’t thinking about illness, or doctors, or anything sad. Instead, he’s laughing and spreading joy simply because he can. The quick clip stopped many people in their tracks and gave them the perspective change they needed.
“32-second video and all the problems I’ve ever had in my life feel so irrelevant. You go buddy,” someone wrote.
“This is beautiful. This is amazing. This just changed my day,” another person added.
Others wished nothing but good things for Lewie and his mom.

Cancer steals a lot more than hair, but Katie and Lewie aren’t letting it get them down. They’re a true inspiration for all of us to enjoy the time we have. We never know when life might change.
