One little puppy is safe and sound after spending hours trapped in a Texas sewer line! A crew from the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) responded to a call on Wednesday about a four-legged friend who’d gotten herself into a bit of a predicament. She and her siblings were playing outside their home when all three dogs managed to fall into an uncovered sewer.
SAWS used their camera equipment to keep the puppy moving in the right direction until they were able to retrieve the trapped puppy from a manhole 20 feet down the block. It was midnight when they finally got her out! KSAT 12 says that the dog has been affectionately nicknamed “Pipa.” According to an X post from SAWS, she was immediately taken to the vet.
