If there’s one thing we love, it’s a “rags to riches” story like Ayla’s!
Just six months ago, an animal rescue in Bali, Indonesia called Little Steps Matter took in a severely malnourished 2-and-a-half-year-old puppy named Ayla. The dog’s front legs hadn’t formed properly due to lack of nutrition, and she was also covered in mange and very sick. In spite of her condition, the little dog’s tail kept wagging even as her body was wracked with pain.
The shelter got her prompt medical attention, including surgery to repair her damaged legs. Over the next few months, Ayla overcame all of her medical ailments and came out of her shell in foster care. When potential adopters Jonathan and Daniel met her, it was love at first sight!
