Prince William may be royalty, but he’s still just a regular guy, and he proved that once again when he was caught celebrating his beloved soccer team’s latest win.

The 43-year-old was in the stands as Aston Villa qualified for the final of the Europa League on May 7th. The avid soccer fan was full of nerves the entire game, so when his team etched out a win, he couldn’t help but burst with happiness.
Aston Villa ended up advancing in the semifinal with a score of 4-0 against their rivals, the English Midlands, Nottingham Forest. That means William’s favorite team is in the final of the Europa League.
While Aston Villa was ahead the entire game, William still wasn’t ready to celebrate until the clock ran out. When it did, Neil Diamond’s legendary hit played through the stands. And William began singing and dancing, just as everyone does when they hear the song.
Fans Love Seeing Prince William ‘Being Normal’
One of the reasons Prince William is so loved is that he’s relatable, and his fans pointed that out in the comments of a video posted on William’s Instagram page.
