William and Kate Gave Their Nanny a Medal of Recognition
According to People, Prince William and Princess Kate honored the Nanny with the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver) during an investiture ceremony in Windsor Castle on March 24, 2026, “for services to the Prince and Princess of Wales.”
A source once told People a bit more about Maria and her involvement with the family.
“Maria loves the children dearly,” they said. “She can be firm and strict, but she is very loving and soft with them, too.
Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a video of the honors on social media, but not specifically of the nanny receiving her medal.
As always, royal enthusiasts shared their excitement to have a glimpse into the family’s lives.
“I love seeing the happiness and pride in the honoree. So important to see who is behind the greatness!” Someone wrote.
“Beautiful and just as special as the person receiving the honour,” another person added. “What pride they all have.”
“Ohhh I love this. What pride they show. Tears in my eyes,” a follower agreed.
We’re sure the family’s beloved nanny felt so good after being honored by Prince William and Princess Kate. Everyone deserves to know just how much they’re loved.
