Have you ever sent got caught up in an annoying group chat and have no idea how your number got in it? We’ve all been there at some point and know what a pain it can be to get out of. When Dennis Williams received a text that Mark and Lindsey Lashley were in labor, he knew he was in the wrong group chat because he had absolutely no clue who they were.
The mistaken text turned into a hilariously beautiful story. “We are at the hospital. Having a baby today!” the text read that Williams received, followed by, “She has dilated to between 5-6.” Dennis and his brother read the text and replied, “Congrats lol but I think someone got the wrong number.”
The group texts continued with Dennis’ texts being ignored by the sender. He told the people in the chat congratulations and that he and his boys would go to the hospital to take a picture with the baby.
Dennis asked for the room number at the local hospital so they could bring gifts for the baby and he and his brother Deorick actually showed up to the hospital!
The family was so appreciative of Dennis and his brother’s kind heart, they shared what happened on Facebook.
“What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this! You 2 are great guys and thank you for giving to someone you didn’t know! If we all only had this kind of a heart.”
We fully agree that these guys are awesome!
