Perched in a hotel room, this photographer was able to capture a legendary shot.
On September 12, 2023, Shane Ware timed the moon’s movement just right to be able to capture the moon rising over Epcot. His hotel was only 1.5 miles away, and he got the perfect room to grab the picture.
Using a telephoto lens, Shane lined up his camera with Spaceship Earth and waited until the perfect moment struck.
The image has now been seen almost 200,000 times on TikTok. Commenters are enthusiastic about his work. One user asked if she could use the picture as her lock screen, while another praised the image as “breathtaking.”
