There are lots of reasons to enjoy the holiday season. One of them, of course, has to be opening gifts! Though, I’d argue that watching someone else open a gift that you gave them can be even better than opening your own. It can be especially fun to watch little kids experience this fun part of the season, but have you ever watched pets open Christmas presents?
As someone who just went through quite a few videos of four-legged friends doing just that, I can attest to how amazing they are to watch. Some find the process a bit confusing at first but, once they get the hang of it, they can’t contain their joy! Keep scrolling to watch some of my favorites.

4. Brady prefers food over toys, and I love him for that.

5. Little Denzel was still recovering from an eye infection when he opened his presents, but that didn’t put a damper on his excitement!

6. A kind person donated lots of goodies to the four legged-friends at the Humane Society in Mokena, Illinois.

See what I mean? If you’ve never had your pets open Christmas presents, I highly recommend it. They get to experience an enrichment activity that ends with a treat and you get a joyful memory. What’s not to love!?
