One volunteer at Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary gets a gold star for dedication! Terry, or “Grandpa Terry” as he’s sometimes affectionately called, loves hanging out with the rescue cats. He helps groom them, gives them lots of love, and even naps with them! In fact, there are some adorable photos of Terry doing just that in one of the animal sanctuary’s Facebook posts.
“We are so lucky to have a human like Terry,” wrote Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in their caption. “Terry just came along one day and introduced himself. He said he’d like to brush cats. Eventually it became everyday. He brushes all of the cats, and can tell you about all of their likes and dislikes. He also accidentally falls asleep most days. We don’t mind – Cats need this! Terry is a wonderful volunteer.”
Commenters loved the adorable photos of “Grandpa” Terry snoozing with the rescue cats. Many even decided to donate to Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary after seeing the post!
“I LOVE TERRY!” wrote one user. “Keep loving those kitties, bro!”

Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary is certainly fortunate to have a volunteer like Terry who is willing to spend so much time with cats in need. We love to see animals getting the care and affection they deserve!
