In 2018 it seemed like everyone and their brother was doing “Fortnite” dances.
VIDEOS BY INSPIRE MORE
The video game took the world by force and kids all over the country were learning how to flail their arms just-so or do “the floss.” For one group of peewee football players in a newly-surfaced viral video, hearing their favorite song meant it was time to do a Fortnite dance — no matter what happened to be going on at the time.
This group of kids on opposing teams were standing on the field waiting to line up to begin the play when the song “Panda” by Desiigner started to play over the P.A. system. Kids on the white team noticed the song first and began to wiggle just a bit, surreptitiously busting out their best Fortnite moves. Soon members of the orange team began to boogie too, and before you can say “lit” both teams were breaking into their best dance-off moves!
Hey, if it’s good enough for NFL players, why not youth league?
The video of these two adorable youth teams dancing to “Panda” has been viewed millions of times across various social media sites, proving that music will always find a way to unite people, even when they’re on opposite teams. Plus, it’s just plain adorable to see these tiny little football players break into their best “floss!”
Even though the fervor for “Fortnite” seems to have faded, we’ll always have the funny dance moves the video game left behind. Personally, we love seeing kids like these having a good time on the playing field, even if they are dancing instead of tackling!
Watch the video below to check out their sick dance moves, and don’t forget to share.
