Before he was one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the National Football League, Patrick Mahomes played football at Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas. That’s where he met his girlfriend, Brittany Matthews. The couple began dating in 2012 and officially became Patrick and Brittany Mahomes ten years later. The couple shares three children: Sterling Skye, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, and Golden Raye. They also shared a tremendous love and support for each other. The United WE recently recognized Brittany with the Champion for Change Award for her work with the NWSL’s Kansas City Current. Her husband was right there, cheering her on.

Patrick Mahomes Left a Sweet Comment for Brittany Mahomes on Instagram
Brittany shared several photos from the awards ceremony on Instagram.

It was such an honor to receive the inaugural Champion for Change award in the stadium that represents what it looks like when women’s needs are prioritized in sports and in the workplace. No better place to celebrate women than a stadium built for women!” Brittany wrote. “Thank you @unitedwe__ and @wendyddoyle for the incredible honor!”
Patrick Mahomes slid into Brittany’s comment section immediately to congratulate his wife.
“Congrats babe! You deserve it! Love you!” The proud husband wrote.
Fans felt the same and loved seeing Brittnay receive the well-deserved honor.

It’s refreshing to see Patrick and Brittany Mahomes building each other up. They’re both wonderful ambassadors for Kansas City and make their home teams proud.
