Strangers Meet On The Dance Floor And Immediately Get Into The Swing Of Things.

Swing partners dancing together for the first time

The best dance partners seem to communicate in an unspoken language that simply can’t be taught.

Affinity Swing is a dance studio in Bath, England, that promises to teach people to dance with anyone, and to any style of music. They teach students West Coast Swing, which is a form of swing dancing that features moves originally found in the Lindy Hop, but set to modern music like R&B, blues, or even pop.

The studio holds friendly competitions where two dancers who may not know each other partner up without even knowing what song will play. In a video shared by Affinity Swing’s Harold Baker, dancers Lauren and Ben are total strangers when they’re matched up to dance to “The Mates of Soul” by Taylor John Williams, but you’d never know it from the way they move together.

They won second place! Watch below as Ben and Lauren glide across the dance floor like they’ve been moving together for years, and don’t forget to share.
