Spunky Teen’s Epic “Proud Mary” Cover Brings “American Idol” Judges To Their Feet.

Every year, we see plenty of amazing talent on “American Idol,” but one contestant is really standing out.

Olivia Ximines, a 17-year-old from California who could brighten any room, made it to Hollywood and then into the Top 40, which is no easy feat. But when she appeared in the special Hawaii episode, she solidified her star status in just a few minutes!

The incredible teen chose one of the most famous and difficult songs she could have: Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary.”

In order to do the classic justice, a performer not only needs a wide vocal range but they also require some serious stage presence. Olivia proved she has both!

In a video, we see her take the stage wearing an overcoat that is obviously hiding a fun surprise. As she begins singing, she hits every note perfectly and brings enough spirit to honor the legendary celebrity’s legacy — and then some!

Then she tosses her coat aside and breaks out an impressive choreographed routine. We feel winded just watching her, but Olivia makes each move look as natural as breathing. Her endless energy has the crowd going wild, and no one can resist singing and dancing along with her.

She even brings the judges to their feet! Not long after, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan let her know she’s made it to the Top 20.

What a stunning, upbeat performance! With this much talent and enthusiasm, we know Olivia is going to go far in her musical career.

Check out her Tina Turner cover in the video below, and share her song with your friends to encourage them to dance along with her.
