Sometimes, professional sports can be kind of boring. Even though the athletes are among the best in the world, it’s just not fun to watch. But if a little chaos comes running on the field, it can make for a whole lot of fun! On October 27, fans watching the Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens game at Huntington Bank Field suddenly saw an extra player on the field. No, one of the teams wasn’t trying to pull a fast one on the refs. A dachshund turned NFL pro stormed the field for its 15 seconds of fame.

NFL Officials Tried To Stop The Dog From Storming The Field
The dachshund was reportedly part of the halftime show and somehow escaped onto the field during the game. More NFL officials stormed the field as the dog ran, trying to stop him, but they couldn’t catch the ducking dachshund. Several people tried to stop the dog, which had fancier footwork than many NFL pros with multi-million-dollar contracts.
A fan caught a video of the dog and shared it on social media. Pubity posted it on Instagram, and it made a lot of people laugh.
Like this person, “They way he looked at the crowd like ‘YOU LIKE THAT?!'”
For this person, the dog storming the field was much more entertaining than the NFL game. “As a collective aww as he was picked up, everyone was having too much fun watching the zoomies.”
“Dachshunds always run even faster, when you are trying to catch them,” a fan wrote.
This person agreed, “Lmao yall not tryna catch him for real you gotta dive and barrel roll. I know. I have one. It’s the only way.”
This person knew as soon as they saw the pup storm the field the NFL needed to pick him up. “Bro got his head in the game and was unstoppable.”
