Restaurant Goes Above And Beyond To Make Blind Guest’s Birthday Unforgettable.

People with disabilities can run into challenges that others may not understand. We can help them feel more included by making small adjustments to accommodate their needs. Often, it’s the tiniest acknowledgment that winds up making the biggest impact!

Natalie Te Paa is a singer, songwriter, and pianist. Originally from New Zealand, she is currently living in Redding, California. She also happens to be completely blind, so she often shares her experiences on her popular social media pages.

During a recent visit to a restaurant to celebrate her birthday, Nat’s friends spoke to the staff members and asked them to write “Happy Birthday” in braille on the cake. The chef complied, and Nat’s reaction to reading those simple words meant just for her is unforgettable!

Watch Nat discover her wonderful surprise in the video below, and be sure to share this story to make someone smile.
