NASA Releases 4-Year Timelapse Of Supernova Explosion, The Footage Is Breathtaking.

Scientists at NASA have completely changed the way we see the universe. Their work has shown us the largest photo of space ever taken, and given us a glimpse of galaxies far beyond our reach, but every day of study brings about new mysteries to be unraveled.

The time-lapse video below was taken over a period of 4 years. Nasa’s Hubble telescope recorded the star’s [V838] explosion in the Monoceros, or the Unicorn, constellation. The explosion and its aftermath were unlike anything NASA scientists had ever seen, and they are still scrambling to gather more data.
