Barry Manilow Cancer

Barry Manilow’s cancer diagnosis surprised the iconic musician just as much as it did his fans. In December 2025, Barry explained in a social media post that his recent bout with bronchitis was more serious than he had initially realized. Barry actually had stage 1 lung cancer and began treatment to fight the disease. He was in the middle of his farewell tour, The Last Concerts, and his residency at the Westgate in Las Vegas. Barry Manilow wasn’t going to let cancer take him down, but he knew he had to take his doctors’ advice and care for himself. Nearly six months later, he sounds hopeful about the future.
