Primitive building, or the art of creating intricate structures using only your hands and natural tools, is a popular genre on YouTube. In a video, we meet Mr. Tfue, a man who aims to someday build an entire underground city using only these hands-on techniques.
He started with an underground swimming pool, complete with a shaded cabana area, and we get to watch him create every square inch.
In less than 20 minutes, we see the sculpture emerge from under Mr. Tfue’s hands as if by magic. He uses a sharpened stick to do most of the groundwork, digging trenches that turn into stairways, arched doorways, and a pool. He then uses naturally growing flora to paint the pool walls and adds chunks of grassy turf to create an aesthetic lawn.
When he’s finished with the seemingly endless process of carving out sand and stone and hauling over water, Mr. Tfue rewards himself with a nice, cool dip in his “millionaire” pool.
