Creative Couple Hilariously Recreates Famous Movie Scenes During Quarantine.

For many people, being quarantined during the novel coronavirus pandemic means having more free time to get those creative juices flowing!

Fanni Kovacs and Hosszu Norbert are professional performers and entertainers who live in Pécs, Hungary. The fun-loving couple is known for donning epic costumes for events, so they knew exactly what to do when they were cooped up at home!

They both miss going out in the world to entertain others, so they decided to use their talents to spread smiles in a new way. Since they’re such big movie fans, they figured they would recreate scenes from their favorites!

“I am a huge movie buff, and Norbi loves movies from the ’70s and ’80s, so our love for the craft is what inspired this series,” Fanni said. “When we were still at university, we loved dressing up whenever we had the chance, so thanks to those days, we have had a lot of accessories and costumes.”

Before they were stuck at home, Fanni and Norbert also stocked up on costume staples so they could continue their theatrical work. All those extra wigs, outfits, and props are coming in handy now that this movie recreation project is taking off!

Even so, there are times when they have to improvise. No boxing glove? No problem! An oven mitt will work just fine.

“We mainly choose themes for the series based on which setting we can pull off and which is relatable to the topic of quarantine in general,” Fanni added. “We have been thinking about something like this for quite some time, but now we finally have plenty of time to make it happen.”

They’re also finding other great ways to give back. Norbert serves as a Red Nose Clown Doctor, which means he visits hospitals to cheer up sick kids. Now that he’s unable to physically go see them, he’s switched to online visits.

At the end of the day, they’re just trying “to put a smile on people’s faces during these hard times.”

Mission accomplished! These pictures are incredible.
