Mother Nature Shocks Onlookers Who Fled From Tsunami

On July 29, an 8.8 magnitude earthquake rocked Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula. As one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded, it caused a ripple effect in the ocean. Many in Hawaii feared the Tsunami waves and fled to higher ground. But Mother Nature sent a beautiful message of hope following the earthquake.

Video in X shows crowds gathered watching the water.

“A pre-tsunami rainbow appears over Kauai’s northern shore in Princeville, near Hanalei Bay, Hawaii. Locals gather on 100-foot cliffs within the designated safe zone,” the caption reads.

Seeing The Video Of The Rainbow Before The Tsunami Amazed People

Followers loved seeing the beauty of the rainbow juxtaposed with the impending Tsunami waves.

“The rainbow is a symbol of God’s Promise that He wouldn’t flood the earth again after the big flood,” someone shared.

“See the rainbow? God was there with his angels protecting them,” another person agreed.

“That has to be surreal,” a comment reads. “Can’t imagine what they’re feeling.”

“That rainbow before the tsunami must be mind-blowing. I can’t even begin to fathom the emotions of those on the cliffs,” someone commented.

An Instagrammer named Gina shared a similar photo of a rainbow in Hawaii and her Tsunami story.

“Safe! Survived my first tsunami warning/evacuation. The rainbow before the wave felt like a promise the earth wouldn’t be flooded…again . Never thought I’d be waiting for the waves to regress, but you never really know what you can handle until you have to. Handled it with lots of dark humour and intellectualization,” she wrote. “Getting to bed late, work in the morning will be exhausting , but still so glad I’m here. Going to sleep remembering all these fun times and memories , and just happy-despite everything.”

Thankfully, the Tsunami waves were not as severe as many feared, and life is returning to normal in Hawaii.
