Months After His Death, Dad Still Finds A Way To Surprise Mom On Valentine’s Day

Love transcends all boundaries — even death. After passing away from brain cancer, one thoughtful husband still managed to surprise his wife with a lovely gift on the most romantic day of the year. Of course, he had a little help from his daughter! Mom got pretty emotional when she received a Valentine’s Day gift from her late husband.

Ari Davis caught this beautiful moment on camera. In her video, she explained that her father had died three months ago. However, before he passed, the man had asked her to continue his tradition of buying her mom the same Valentine’s Day gift every year. So, when the special day rolled around, Ari surprised her mother with a gorgeous bouquet of roses and a box of chocolates!

When Mom found out who this Valentine’s Day gift was from, she got teary-eyed and gave her daughter a big hug. This was an extremely emotional moment for both of them. Ari shared in her clip that purchasing the flowers and candy in her father’s place had been a challenge.

“Going and getting those gifts without him there was so hard,” she wrote. “I sobbed the whole way home.”

However, it was definitely worth it to see the look on her mom’s face when she got a Valentine’s Day gift from her husband!

To Ari’s complete surprise, her clip received millions of views on social media. Users flocked to the comments section to send their love to the grieving wife and daughter. In a follow-up video, Ari shared just how much everyone’s kind words meant to her and her mom.

“We have both gone from crying to laughing to crying again,” she wrote. “I am trying to read every single comment because I believe they are all important. It is shocking how many people can care about our story. The comments have lifted us in a time that has been so hard.”

Valentine’s Day can be a difficult holiday for those who have lost a loved one. It’s so sweet that Ari’s dad planned ahead to make sure that his wife would receive something special from him on that day!
