Teen’s Last-Minute Poster Crisis Has Parents Everywhere In Stitches.

Every parent has been there. Your child (or maybe even teen) comes to you at 9 p.m. and says “I have a presentation at school tomorrow and I need a tri-fold display board right now,” or “I’m supposed to bring a costume to drama class tomorrow, do you have any colonial garb?”

You have a little debate with yourself– Do I leave them to scramble as punishment for procrastinating? Or do I go ahead and help the kid out?— and, in many cases, you cave.

Mom Rachael Pavlik–writer behind “RachRiot‖knows this struggle all too well. Her story of a recent experience involving her daughter and a poster board has moms everywhere cracking up!

Check it out below.

PARENTING IN A NUTSHELL:

I go to CVS. No white posterboard. Go to 2nd store. Buy the white poster board.

Here’s your white poster board.

Oh thank you! Thank you. I love you. You’re the best mama!

Yeah. I know I am. Go to sleep. I love you.

*MORNING

Don’t forget your white poster board.

Here’s your poster board.

Roll it up with this rubber band-

Be careful with the poster board.

Time for the bus

Bye bye love you best day ever

Kiss kiss

*Kids walk around the corner to the bus stop.*

I’m so glad she got her poster board. Whew. Crisis averted. I’m winning at this mom thing. Yay me. Hero. I’m the best.

I’m going to go on a walk today. Beautiful day feeling good. Stretch. I’m walking. Turn the corner where the bus stop is…

Bus came. Kids are gone. Everyone gone.

Except this

This. HER G@#%!?#% POSTER BOARD

The mom later posted an update, and while she refused to take it to school she did include an image of  her daughter and the poster board being, “REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO… GOOD?”

Does this scenario sound familiar? It did to this mom.

And this mom came up with the perfect solution.

While others saw the positives.
