People are going crazy over an 18-month-old’s hair. Not because she was born with a hilarious bouffant like this baby, and not because she was born with an unusually full head of it like these little ones. No, little MilliAnna’s hair is striking for a different reason: she has a natural, bright white streak running through her otherwise black hair… and it perfectly matches Mom’s!
The little South Carolina native is actually the 4th generation of women in her family to boast the unique birthmark just above her forehead. Mom Brianna (23), Grandmother Jennifer (41), and Great-Grandmother Jaonne (59) were all born with the same condition! In fact– since Jaonne was adopted and doesn’t know her biological family– the trend may go back even further than that!

MilliAnna has poliosis, a condition which causes lack of pigmentation in patches of skin or hair. But Mom Brianna hopes MilliAnna will embrace her unique look just as she has.

“In elementary school, kids are a little harsher, but when you grow up, it becomes cool.” says Brianna. “I’m going to tell her, ‘you’re unique, you’re pretty, you’re beautiful.'”

In fact, Brianna was hoping that her little girl would be born with the family’s signature look!
“I was hoping she did have it. My younger sister that my mother had a few years after me didn’t get it, so I didn’t know if MilliAnna was going to, but once I had her and they laid her on my chest and I saw she had it, I was so happy.”

And the stunning patch certainly has heads turning. “We definitely get stopped a lot while out and about on our daily routines.”
