When it’s time to finally say goodbye, it is heartbreaking. Meghan Markle recently lost her beloved rescue beagle, Guy. The Duchess of Sussex posted a sweet dedication to Guy on Instagram, sharing a rare glimpse of her children, Prine Archie and Princess Lilibet. Meghan rescued Guy a decade ago, he was with her through the best times and challenging days. It’s clear she will miss him terribly.

Meghan Markle’s Children Prince Archie And Princess Lilibet Loved Guy
Megan explained on Instagram that she adopted Guy from a Canadian rescue in 2015. From the moment she saw him, she knew he was the dog for her.
She wrote, “He was the best guy any girl could have asked for. If you followed me on instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him – and on The Tig too. He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.”
The duchess posted a video compilation of some favorite moments with Guy. From the time he was a little puppy to his death, Meghan Markle gave him all of her love. After she met Prince Harry and gave birth to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Guy stayed by her side as a protector and companion.
Meghan expressed that she’s crying a lot of tears over the loss of her beloved pup, but she’s giving herself grace.
“Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know.”
