Going to a Disney park with three young children is a golden recipe for magic. Girls meet the princesses and swoon because they want to be princesses when they grow up. Boys usually go for other characters like Woody or Stitch. When Amanda’s son met Cinderella at Disney World, they all got a surprise.

Experiencing his first crush, this toddler was smitten. As he turned in his chair and slid toward Cinderella, he was all smiles. As they talked, she worked on autographing a note for him. When he stood up, she took his hand, and the two posed for pictures.
After pictures, the two shared a hug. Because Cinderella must adhere to the Disney World hug rule, she couldn’t let go until he did. The Disney hug rule is one of the reasons parents and kids love Disney so much. The rule is in place because that kid may need that hug more than anyone knows.

Disney World is the place where magic happens, whether it is meeting Cinderella or getting your first Dole Whip. Amanda and her family have many memories of their visit. Riding all the rides elicited varying reactions. The kids seemed to prefer the character interactions. That is easy to understand because those dinosaurs are pretty big and scary!

It is safe to say that Amanda’s children will all have good memories from their Disney trip. The entire family will remember her son’s interaction with Cinderella. Those pictures will probably stay hidden until his senior year in high school. They will resurface in time to make it into the yearbook under a “Guess who this is…” banner.
