Meet Isla, Toddler Genius And The Youngest-Ever Member Of Mensa.

Image shows toddler genius Isla McNabb reading flash cards at two years old.

Young Isla McNabb scored in the 99th percentile on the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales for her age group. As a genius toddler, she ranks among the world’s most intelligent. Mensa is the largest high-IQ society, with more than 140,000 members. The society has branches worldwide in more than 100 countries. There are guidelines for admittance, including a required score at or over the 98th percentile on a recognized, standard IQ test.

According to a psychologist who specializes in gifted children, they don’t typically test children at Isla’s age. However, after hearing about her talents, he made an exception. Isla’s level of intelligence at her age has resulted in recognition from the folks at Guinness World Records. She is the youngest member ever admitted to the elite Mensa high-IQ society!

Isla’s Intelligence Was Evident Early In Her Life

Isla’s parents knew she was gifted at an early age. They noticed that she was attentive and focused at just seven months old. She could pick out specific items in her picture books on request. On her second birthday, her aunt Crystal gave her an erasable writing tablet. Her dad, Jason, wrote some words on the tablet, and genius toddler Isla read them aloud quickly.

Isla had a set of multi-colored plastic letters. Her parents routinely found the letters around the house, but not like an ordinary kid leaving toys out. Isla would spell out words such as “sofa” and “chair” and leave the letters proudly displayed for her parents to find. Once, they found the word “cat” next to their sleeping pet, Booger. Nothing escapes the wrath of genius toddler Isla’s spelling practice!

The Future Holds No Barriers For The Toddler Genius!

At three, Isla has the world at her fingertips. Her parents face the challenge of raising a gifted child with mixed feelings. Jason admits it isn’t always easy because they can’t just spell things they don’t want her to know. She’s a spelling whiz! Despite that, both parents intend to give Isla every opportunity they can to continue excelling.

We wish Isla only the best as she navigates her way through life. If you enjoyed this achievement tale, please share it with a friend.
