Sometimes it seems like you can pick up just about anything at your local Walmart… even a career in music.
Ten year-old Mason Ramsey is an aspiring country western singer who’s already gotten a taste of fame a few times in his young life. Two years ago, he won first place in the Beginner Division of the 27th Annual Kentucky Opry Talent Search. He’s also appeared on his hometown radio station and gotten a good amount of attention from an acoustic cover of Hank Williams’ classic “Hey Good Lookin'” that he put on his YouTube channel.

Mason is clearly well on his way to becoming the next big country music star, but not before he hits one more pop culture milestone along the way: web meme.

On a recent visit to the local Walmart store in his town of Harrisburg, Illinois, Mason decided to serenade shoppers with another song made famous by his favorite musician, Hank Williams, Sr.
Snazzily dressed in a tucked-in white oxford shirt, red bowtie, big belt buckle, and cowboy boots, Mason charmed everyone within earshot with his very impressive yodeling skills. Yep, that’s right. We said yodeling.

This isn’t the first time Mason has made the aisle of Walmart his stage. People in his town say he’ll often stop by to sing to passersby, just because he loves performing so much. When you’re an eager performer, you’ll take just about any venue you can get!

Even though this was just another Sunday night for Mason, he probably had no idea that this particular performance would be witnessed by a Twitter user named David. David took a quick 42 second video of Mason’s yodeling and uploaded it to Twitter, where it immediately went viral!
The clip has now been viewed over 16 million times, and it continues to gain popularity as people discover this adorable boy with his toe-tapping yodeling talent.
