Martha Stewart Shares Surprising Simple Makeup Routine

For years, we’ve looked to Martha Stewart for all the best tips and tricks for home décor, gardening, cooking, and more. She’s our go-to when we want to impress our family and friends with the little extra touches that take our parties from ho-hum to holy cow. In recent years, Martha’s branched out a bit and proven to be pretty hip, too. She’s built a solid friendship with everyone’s favorite gangster rapper turned big softy, Snoop Dog.

Martha is nothing if not a brilliant businesswoman. While she’s built an empire, she’s taken great care of herself. From healthy eating to excellent skin care, Martha makes herself a priority, and it shows.

In her 80s, Martha is still a stunner. She shared a video on Instagram about her beauty routine along with a few personal anecdotes. Martha said she began modeling at a very young age, but as one of six children, she learned a lot at home. Martha’s mom taught her to sew and cook, and she referred to herself as her siblings’ “second mother.”

As Martha continued to talk about her life living on a farm, growing her own vegetables, and raising chickens for eggs, she applied her makeup. In less than five minutes, her face looked glowing and renewed, using just a few of her favorite Merit products.

She called her makeup routine in the caption, “Easier than making a pot of soup.”

Fans loved watching Martha and listening to her soothing story. “Can Martha just do some affirmations in her amazing voice for me to play at work every day? I feel like that would lower my blood pressure.”
