Principal Leaves Graduates In Awe With Gorgeous Cover Of “I Will Always Love You.”

Marcus Gause is a man of many talents, and he’s kept at least one of them hidden from his students at T. Wingate Andrews High School in High Point, North Carolina. As their principal, Marcus is usually all business, but when he took to the podium at Greensboro Coliseum to deliver his commencement address, he wanted to make sure every graduate knew one thing: He will always love them!

Breaking into song with a shockingly good voice, Marcus delighted the cheering grads with a pitch-perfect version of “I Will Always Love You.” He later said he was nervous about tackling such a difficult song, but “the lyrics were really what I was trying to portray to my students.”

He added, “One of the things that the pandemic has really taught us is that we need more love, that students know that we love and care for them.”

Wait until you hear him hit that high note! We don’t know about these students, but we’re certainly impressed! Check out his stunning performance in the video below, and don’t forget to share this story with your friends.
