Bench dedications are oh-so-sweet. But have you ever come across one that looked worn down? While on a walk, a man named Danny discovered one that looked particularly rough. It was covered in layers of dirt and debris. The plaque on it read: Berri Romans, the best dog in the world. Needless to say, Danny’s heart broke a little.

Most people would have moved on with their day, but that’s not what Danny chose to do. On the contrary, he decided to put his skills as a so-called “wood wizard” to good use by doing a total restoration of the bench. Kind Stranger Goes Viral Over Sharing the Restoration Process of an Old Bench Dedicated to a Beloved Dog
Many people wanted to know: What did Danny use to restore this bench to such a beautiful color? Turns out, it was a lot simpler than you might think. According to a comment left by Danny himself, all he had to use was “an exterior/outdoor wood oil, just a clear one.”
