Malcolm In The Middle

Malcolm In The Middle Fans went crazy when they heard the show would have a four-part reboot on Disney+. The Wilkerson family will return with most of the original cast, including Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Masterson, and Justin Berfield, reprising their role. But one of the original stars will not be returning to the show.

Variety reported that Erik Per Sullivan, who played Dewey, will be replaced by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark. According to Variety, it’s not a huge surprise Per Sullivan will not reprise his role, as he’s not done much acting since Malcolm in the Middle ended in 2006. He’s also been noticeably absent from reunions. But it seems the rest of the cast can’t wait.

Malcolm In The Middle” Will Be Back Soon

Disney+ shared the news on Instagram in December, with Bryan and Jane getting right back into character and yelling, “Malcolm!” The post reads, “They’re back! Malcolm in the Middle returns with 4 brand-new episodes on Disney+.”

Fans immediately shared their joy at the announcement.

A fan wrote, “OMG!! Best show ever!! So excited!!! We re-watch this show every year. Never gets old!”

Another person wrote, “Great! I loved this show and really wanted more episodes!”

This fan joked with a nod to Bryan Cranston’s time on Breaking Bad, “Do you think the dad has to explain what he was doing from 2007 to 2013?”

Frankie Muniz teased March 24 on X, writing, ” I just started watching Malcolm in the Middle episode 1. I’ve got 151 to catch up on before we start filming again in a few days!!! I can’t wait to get back together with my old family.”

We don’t have an exact date for the Malcolm In The Middle revival, but it seems to be coming together nicely.
