We’ve watched many of our favorite places close their doors forever and mourned the loss. Many fans worried we might lose Red Lobster for good in 2024 when the chain abruptly closed dozens of locations amid bankruptcy proceeds. But the word on the street is Red Lobster is back, baby. We all remember Lobsterfest, right? Well, it’s here and better than ever.

Red Lobster Announced The Return of Lobsterfest With A Twist
This isn’t just any Lobsterfest, it’s the Greatest Lobsterfest of All Time, affectionately shorted to “GLOAT.”
Per a news release, Red Lobster wants customers to enjoy the Lobsterfest of their dreams. To that end, it will offer 10 dishes plus an upgraded Create Your Own option, which will let customers create their own perfect meal.
“Lobsterfest is the ultimate celebration for lobster lovers, and this year, we’re taking it to the next level with more variety, more flavor, and more ways than ever for guests to satisfy their crustacean cravings,” said Nichole Robillard, CMO at Red Lobster. “From brand-new lobster creations to our exciting new Create Your Own option, we’re serving up a lobster-loaded lineup that’s sure to please any palate.”
NBA great Blake Griffin joined Red Lobster to promote the GLOAT with a social media campaign that fans love.
“To celebrate the greatest Lobsterfest of all time, NBA All-Star Blake Griffin is bringing his A-game from the court to the table. He’s proven himself as a Dunk Champion, and now he’s taking his skills to the ultimate seafood feast,” the release reads.
Lobsterfest runs from now until April 20, 2025. According to Instagram, you can have as many Cheddar Bay Biscuits as your little heart desires. You’ve got nothing to lose.
