High School Dance Team Performs Hilarious Routine As Lunch Ladies.

It’s not all that unheard of for dance teams to dress up in flashy costumes for their performances.

It is, however, pretty odd for groups to completely disguise themselves for the judges. Surely, when the Hallsville High School Dance Team took center stage at the 2013 ADTS Nationals, everyone in the venue was scratching their heads. You see, they were dressed as lunch ladies, complete with wigs and fake butts. But the second their routine started, it became clear that something epic was about to take place.

The routine started off slow, with a voiceover that the team illustrated with a combination of lip-synching and subtle, but silly choreography. The audience was cracking up before the music even came on!

But the second the tempo changed and the performance picked up, people began cheering for their incredibly on-point dance moves.

They didn’t just feature new music for their routine, though. In addition to popular contemporary songs by the likes of the Pussycat Dolls and Flo Rida, the women threw in moves like the twist and the mashed potato!

Their dance routine was a wonderful mix of hilarity and skill – and the audience loved it.

What was especially unique about their performance was that while they did multiple moves together, the choreography allowed moments for each young woman to shine and play the part of the hilarious lunch lady persona.

And they each truly sold it from beginning to end – with some grabbing their backs in “pain” as they ran off stage.
