Dogs are known for their loyalty, but every once in a while, we’re still blown away by how incredibly devoted they can be! One day, a man who lives on the streets in Poços de Caldas, Brazil, suffered a stroke and was taken to Hospital Santa Lúcia for some tests.
In a video, we see that as the EMTs work to load him onto a stretcher, his canine best friend is watching anxiously from the sidelines. When the man is moved into an ambulance, the pup hops right in beside him, refusing to leave his side for a moment!
“This dog has been accompanying him for a long time,” said the ambulance driver, who later had to keep the sweet pup from running inside the hospital with his human. “The dog is his, and he treats it very well.”
After the tests, we’re thrilled to say the man was reunited with his dog before going into recovery!
