Loved Ones Fully Support Ariana Grande’s Upcoming Break

Ariana Grande Break

It’s been a very busy few years for Ariana Grande. The pop princess transformed into Glinda for 2024’s Wicked, and its sequel, Wicked for Good. The original movie became the highest-grossing Broadway musical film adaptation in history, grossing more than $750 million. The movie thrusted Ariana Grande into the spotlight, and after nearly two years, she’s ready for a much-needed break. When her Eternal Sunshine Tour ends on September 1, 2026, Ariana intends to step out of the spotlight. A source told People the decision is “deeply personal.”

Loved Ones Support Ariana Grande’s Break

Ariana Grande announced her plans to take a break during an August 3 show in Chicago. The Wicked actress shared that she’s excited about her new album, Petal. She assured her fans at the show that this break is about her and not anyone else or what they think of her.

“No matter what noises exist out there, nothing will be able to distort my reality or be more real to me or not as real to me as this love that we share,” Ariana shared.

Those close to the singer claim the tour has been a wonderful adventure for Ariana, but like everyone else in the world, she needs time to rest.

“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” the statement read. “This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”
