As they say, patience is a virtue. Well, this little girl was definitely rewarded for her patience. She waited 7 years for a puppy of her own, and her parents catch the moment she finally gets one on camera.
It’s this little girl’s birthday, and her parents have one more surprise so she’s told to cover her eyes. But when she opens them someone has put a Shiba Inu puppy in her lap… She can hardly believe it at first. “Wait a second.” she says. Then she throws her arms around the tiny puppy and screams “A dog! A dog!” The little girl cannot stop crying with joy! She says that she’s waited 7 years for this day (hilarious, considering she’s probably only about 7 years old), and she can hardly stand her excitement over her new puppy. She’s definitely surprised!
“I got a dog! I got a dog! O my gosh, I got a dog!” she says through tears. “I’m so happy! It’s the best birthday present in the world!”
When mom asks what the little girl will name her puppy, she doesn’t even hesitate: “Wasabi! Her name is gonna be Wasabi!” She’s clearly thought about this before! The name is perfect since Shiba Inu’s are one of the original six dog breeds from Japan, and the wasabi plant is native to Japan.
“This is unbelievably awesome!” the girl says. “This is the best present ever!”
Her little brother thinks so too and chimes in with, “Can I have a puppy?”
