Earlier this week, recording artist T.I. posted an Instagram of a little boy giving a motivational speech on the basketball court. He didn’t say who the boy is or what prompted the speech, but this kid’s incredible (and adorable) speech is inspiring everyone who hears it!
In the speech, the boy– probably no more than ten years old– encourages listeners to work hard and stay motived. “I’m gonna tell you something.” he says. “A speech right now. Either you work hard for it or you don’t work hard for it… In life, you have to work.”
This kid speaks with wisdom beyond his years! He’s certainly a tough little fighter, ready to face the world. “Either you have to be the shark of the ocean or the fish of the ocean,” he says. Judging but the words in his speech, this boy is clearly a shark!
“You have to have that mindset! So you can come in here and dominate!” he says, pumping his first for emphasis. But he’s not too tough to be understanding; he has a word for anyone feeling discouraged: “Don’t put yourself down. Motivate yourself. Keep yourself up, pumped, and ready for any challenge that comes.”
