Have you ever met a child who is so wise beyond their years, it makes you believe in “old souls?” If not, you’re about to!
Aldie is only 4 years old, but he has already figured out more about human emotions than some people ever do. Back in march he had a rough day and lost his cool, so that night he wanted to talk it over with his mom, Jonisa. Jonisa says they always chat about the day at bedtime, but tonight Aldie’s observations were so articulate and precious, she decided to record their conversation. The resulting video has won the hearts of millions.
In just over two minutes, Aldie shares that he “had a hard time doing [his] emotions earlier,” but that he forgave himself for getting mad and knows feeling emotions is normal and just a part of being human. He talks about making smart choices for himself, and reminding his papa to do the same. Throughout it all, his mother affirms that he’s learning and doing his best, so you can see where he gets his gentle outlook.
“He’s very wise for his age, you know, I keep thinking, ‘how old is this kid?'” Jonisa admitted on an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
