Little Boy Calls Teacher Old, So She Challenges Him To A Dance-Off!

Most of the time, teachers are focused on helping their students learn. That said, how can anyone resist a harmless dance-off? That’s what happened between this Philadelphia teacher and her young student last year. Luckily, someone shared their epic battle on social media, and it’s gone viral! It’s called Veggie Dance, and it’s from a popular YouTube channel called Gracie’s Corner. On their page, you’ll find all sorts of fun, educational content aimed at kids. Turns out, their music also provides the perfect beat for a dance-off! Because, as you can see, this student nails his performance! Still, nothing can quite prepare him for the moves his teacher pulls off…

Regina Laurie, the second-grade teacher, says it all started when the little boy playfully called her “old.”

“So I said to myself, ‘I’m gonna challenge this boy to a dance-off,'” Regina said.

Although the talented kid does an amazing job, Regina has some moves up her sleeve. Without hesitation, she pulls them out like she’s been practicing them — except she hasn’t! In turn, folks online are quickly becoming fans of this spirited woman and her impressive moves. Plus, they’re loving the overall vibe she’s giving as a teacher.

“These types of teachers make a huge difference in education,” someone in the comments points out.

“It’s giving real life Abbott Elementary,” someone else says, referencing the hit show all about teachers.

“She’s about to be battling kids until retirement now,” another jokes.

Although this teacher is the clear winner, it’s also clear that she and her students have a blast together. We love to see it!
